FounderEIRS is owned by Jitu Virwani, Chairman, Embassy Group, an enthusiastic rider himself. It was set up in 1996 and is run by Silva Storai, the only female jockey in the world with a record two-Derby-and-Bangalore-Guineas win. The Embassy Group commenced operations in 1993. With a track record of 29.8 million square feet of space, the Group offers world-class residential, commercial and mixed use developments.

Her deep understanding of the psychology of the horse combined with years of experience has given her a rare and immeasurable skill in the starting of young thoroughbreds and their pre-training for racing. Basavaraju Sangappa, a decorated rider with the Embassy International Riding School, began his career as an apprentice rider in the year 2005, quickly learning the reins to having a right foot in the saddle. Basu, decided to make this sport his career, representing EIRS in national championships. His rise to fame began with the EIRS team taking a gold at Junior Nationals following it up with top podium spot at the National Equestrian Championship in 2011. There was no looking back for him as he kept graduating in his skilled riding. In 2015 the sponsored rider of EIRS decided to share his skills with young riders taking into the boots of a full time instructor.
Bindu M, a wonderful teacher who knows how to get the best from each horse and rider. Having been around horses since the age of two, watching her dad work at the Embassy International Riding School the young girl decided to take the reins to be her profession. Her training and hard work has attained her status of a mature trainer with years of teaching experience. With oodles of patience and good humour, she coaxes the most nervous of riders to achieve their goals Bindu has been competing regularly in various events too and has had the privilege of working with a BHS qualified instructor from UK along with whom she has conducted several kids’ camps.
Sanyogeeta Limaye, fondly called Sayali, is one of our newest Instructors. After years of competing as a Show Jumper, she decided to pursue her passion for horses as a profession.Sayali worked with many known figures in the industry to expand her knowledge and skills. She worked as an assistant under the Race course horse trainer Rasika Reddy. She also spent a season working for the Olympic Equestrian Couple Neal and Elisa Shapiro and later worked with one of UK’s known horse producer John Steels for some time. She is one of those who firmly believes that there is always scope for improvement which she has rightly imparted to her students as well. She encourages her students and horses to improve by treating each of them as an individual, being empathetic and understanding each of their needs.
